Push the door once
Pushed closed
Push the door twice
Pushed closed
Repeat two more times

Try to find a way in
To chew on plastic bags
Wrapping paper and notes
Or find a new toy
In a flash drive or key chain
To swat around living room
Under entertainment center
Where it will remain for months

Try to drag item on floor
Next to door through opening
Pulled away
Push the door a fifth time
Door pushed shut

Still try to scratch a way in
To tear up recyclables
Sit in laundry basket
Crawl on shelves
Stare out window
Push pens off desk
Sit at end of bed
Because it all belongs to him
